GRADUATION EVENT SUMMARY
WEDNESDAY, JUNE 12th 8:30am – 3:00pm Six Flags @ Vallejo
THURSDAY, JUNE 13TH 11:30am Graduation Ceremony @ Friends Field
Graduation Dance recap: It was an incredible night! Photos coming soon!
Six Flags Field Day – Wednesday, June 12th from 8:30 am - 3:00 pm
Wednesday, June 12th is considered a full school day with kids arriving at 8:30am for final graduation
rehearsal before heading off by bus to Six Flags.
Students are encouraged to wear beach/Hawaiian themed shirts, bring a sun hat, sunglasses, water
bottle, and wear comfortable tennis shoes. Apply sunblock before heading to school.
Lunch is being provided.
The buses will be back on campus about 3:00pm.
Graduation Day – Friends Field, Thursday, June 13 th @ 11:30 am
Students need to be at MVMS no later than 10:30 am. There is no cap & gown.
The MVMS grad ceremony is a “bring-your-own-lawn-chair” event. The field will be open at
10:30am. Please do not drop your chairs off or try to set up seating earlier. Your chairs will be
removed if you do so.
Please keep the center aisle clear. We will be marking off prior to the ceremony. The students will
come up the center aisle before taking their seats.
Students have been instructed to arrive at school at 10:00am so they will have time to get ready in the
morning at home!
A professional photographer from Campus Candids will take photos of each graduate as they walk
across the stage. Photos will be available for purchase and a link will go out after graduation, similar to
Mugsy Clicks.
A big thank you to Green Jeans for providing the plants to enhance and make the ceremony space
beautiful.
